There’s something special that happens when families, educators, and community members come together—not for presentations or lectures, but for real conversations. That’s exactly what you’ll experience at Sussex Montessori School’s upcoming ParentCamp.
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, Sussex Montessori will open its doors for an evening built around connection, collaboration, and community. ParentCamp is designed to bring people together in a relaxed, welcoming environment where every voice matters and everyone has something to contribute.
What Makes ParentCamp Different?
There are no speakers and no formal presentations—just meaningful, participant-driven conversations. Attendees choose from discussion topics that matter most to them, creating space for honest dialogue, shared experiences, and practical ideas you can take home.
This ParentCamp will focus on literacy and supporting students as readers and learners. Conversation topics include:
Unlocking a Love for Reading
Growing Readers the Montessori Way
Cracking the Code: Literacy & State Test Scores
Literacy Starts at Home
Whether your child is just beginning their reading journey or building confidence along the way, these conversations are designed to support and empower families.
Something for Everyone
While adults are engaged in conversation, kids will be having a great time too! Our Kids Club offers games, crafts, and activities in a fun and safe environment—plus a few prizes to keep things exciting.
And because connection is even better over good food, a free meal will be provided for all attendees.
A Little Extra Fun
Every ParentCamp you attend this year earns you an entry to win a Delaware State Parks Pass, making each event another opportunity to explore and enjoy all that Delaware has to offer.
