“Inspiration and Prosperity through Education”

After spending more than 25 years in the corporate world, I knew I wanted to put my years of finance and business management experience to use to empower others.

I am honored to be able to teach what I know and what I have seen firsthand, and humbled to be able to share real-world knowledge and experience. I am passionate about equipping others with skills that will help them make great life decisions.

Financial literacy is imperative for the future success of all. I strive to equip people with tools for making wiser, financially responsible choices earlier in their life to ensure life-long financial success. I am honored to expand my outreach through my relationship with the Kentucky Financial Empowerment Commission, Smart Women Smart Money, Northern Kentucky University, and the John Jay Center for Learning.

FacilitatorLiza Holland – Consultant, Holland Management Services & Storyteller in Chief, UK Center for Next Generation Leadership, @LadyLexyMinx

I am passionate about effective communication and education. So many experiences in work and society would benefit from intentional conversations. As such, I help individuals and groups with effective communication in coaching, planning, messaging, training, and more. I am the proud host of Education-Perspectives Podcast. My background is in senior executive roles in association management, communications, consulting, events, marketing, and training. I love bringing people together and getting things done. As a matter of fact, I was named by the United Way as a Bluegrass Community Connector: “Great civic connectors in the Bluegrass region who make significant things happen in our communities.”

In business, I’ve handled strategic planning, managing high-performing teams, and executing innovative, sustainable initiatives as well as communications and training. I am dedicated to finding solutions and improving systems.

I have a strong commitment to education and as such, served at all levels of PTA, including as the president of the 16th District PTA which had over 10,000 members, and the KY PTA where I served as VP of Communications. I enjoyed working with committees to create a better learning environment for children. I was a big part of advocacy, Chairing the successful Our Kids Can’t Wait campaign and the Healthy Lifestyles promotion, including the PTA 5K bringing over $50K to local schools. I was recruited as a consultant with the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence, a citizen’s advocacy group for education excellence. I brought business and policy leaders together in support of early childhood education.

The Horse Industry has been a big part of my life. I served as Executive Director for the Paso Fino Horse Association, the American Youth Horse Council, and the KY Horse Council. I led these organizations to greater financial stability and expanded programs to enhance the member experience. I also served in an advocacy role at the state and national levels.

I think the key to success is continual learning and effective communication. Allow me to be a part of your communications and problem-solving journey. Liza@LizaHolland.com
