A HUGE thank you to Paula McPeake (@PMCPeake1) for being our guest last week talking about being intentional in building a support system.  We all felt nourished from all the watering that was going on.

Our first question was a fun one, all the participants gave a shout out to people who “water” them. So much fun to build into others!

@PaulaMcPeake – It seems we’re far more intentional about having our tangible needs met than our emotional ones. We should build our support systems before we need them.
@JeremyBond – Support systems are like foundations because they hold us up.
@DJE_29 – Support systems are like a strong cup of coffee because they keep you going through out the day.
@joeymh43 – Being watered by others bring rationality to overpowering emotions and peace to anxiety.  Also – A result of INTENTIONALLY watering others reinforces the notion that they indeed have the power to lead their own lives-not just accept them. (An insight I gained from J.Kotter)
@MrKalebJohnson – I also think it’s important to make certain you take time to send a “5 minute” message to your support system from time to time. We often time get caught up in life we forget to show them our gratitude. Also – Support systems are like the roots of a tree. They help us grow and stand strong!
@Howells_Owls – This makes me think of the importance of paradigms in @TheLeaderinMe – Why you authentically believe in someone, they believe in themselves.
